This piece delves into the individual processes of growth and flourishing, examining the conditions and stimuli that encourage us to evolve and transform. When personal fears outweigh pain, and pain exceeds those fears, one consciously takes risks, even at the cost of harming one's body, to escape the clutches of pain.
